Description

Small piece of lath with hand-wrought nail in it. Tag: "Bit of a 1695 lath with nail from B. Titcomb House, Newburyport. The creosoting is recent. The lath came from the projecting rounded end of the W. Chamber summer and helped carry the plaster coving?.
