English deltware punch bowl, its straight sides have a slightly outflared rim and are on a straight foot. It has a white ground with hand-painted underglaze decoration in blue, green and iron red; the outside is decorated with Persian-like trefoils with flowers alternating with floral motifs above the peafowls and rim motif. The inside has loose calligrapher scrolls with a conforming central stylized floral motif.
