Description

Tan straw, scalloped/rought plaited bands; brim extends to rounded points, and surves up and around neck; round crown; brim is lined with coral silk taffeta (stitched to fit shape), and narrow black velvet ribbon around edge of brim; one wire band around brim and neck; base of crown at neck is lined with off-white cambric, the rest of crown shows partial remains of paper lining; note also--remains of green silk ribbon ties attached to lining of brim (at points).
