Description

Paint decorated wooden birdcage, of tall cube form. The top has a central medallion and a turned finial with iron wire bars radiating out and down the sides, through three horizontal wooden bars and corner stiles. The base has a pull-out front cleaning compartment, and inside are corner shelves and a five-hole feeding shelf. A bird perch hangs from the top medallion with painted wooden canary on it. The cage is painted a bright yellow with green, blue and traces of a red painted floral decoration.
