The rug is of rectangular form, patterned with three sprays of roses and feathery, leaves in shades of red, rose, green, blue, beige and yellow on a varregated rose and medium blue ground. Bound with blue-lavendar cotton twill tape. The rose blossoms are raised with "Waldoboro" type petals.
