Description

Frontispiece is marked "Album" with an engraving picturing two young girls exhanging flowers and entitled "The Flowers", published by J.C. Riker, NY. It contains, in scattered order, several elegiac poems and musings by various authors on the subject of friendship and death. These entries, evidently copied from otyher sources, are dated between 1838 and 1841 and are written in ink in fine handwriting. The album also contains pressed flowers. Front and back covers are loose.
