Description

This scrapbook contains a nearly-complete set of clippings from the newspaper series "Glimpses of Old Boston" featuring landmark buildings and street scenes in the 1800s as well as a few associated clippings. Many of the photographs were lent by the Boston Athenaeum. It has an elaborately colored and embossed cover showing the title "Album." Since the pages of the scrapbook are fragild, it should be handled with care
