Description

Four wallpaper fragments from the first, or earliest, of three layers of decorative paper from a fireboard. The wallpaper is block-printed with mid-sized, stylized floral medallions in green and black framed by stylized foliate and floral elements in gray on white ground. Two different medallion designs are visible. Printed on partial sheets of laid paper.
