Twenty-six fragments of wallpaper and four border fragments that once formed the third, or uppermost, layer of decorative papers applied to a fireboard. The wallpaper (A) is a large-scale diaper pattern with stylized floral element in each diamond and quatrefoils at the intersection of diagonals. The wallpaper is roller-printed in two greens, brown and white on ungrounded paper. The wallpaper is framed on all four sides by a floral border (B) of stylized roses and phlox. The border is roller-printed in pink, white, green, blue and brown on gray ground.
