Wallpaper fragment from the Sumner Taylor House, Ashby, Massachusetts. Diaper pattern paper block-printed in three browns and white on ochre satin ground. Dorothy Waterhouse refered to this as the "Longfellow" pattern because of its use in the Longfellow House, Portland, Maine. The pattern was also used in the Nelson Room at the Beauport, Sleeper-McCann House, Gloucester, Massachussets.
