Description

Four wallpaper fragments from Barnstable, Massachusetts. Gold striped wallpaper resembling an embossed Gilt-Figure wallpaper. Roller-printed in metallic gold stripes and figures over delicate line pattern in white on gray ground. The clearest figures are small vases containing wheat stalks. Others figures appear to be floral sprigs. Paper is not embossed.
