Description

Wallpaper border or frieze from Bernardston, Massachusetts. Wall fragment still attached to wallpaper, see 2001.281.293.2. Vine and floral figures wrap around cylinder with Greek key pattern. Block-printed in orange, black, blue and gray with green and gray stenciling on white or off-white ground. Wove paper in partial sheets.
