This is a scrapbook of assorted commercial and domestic ephemera, including fabric and wallpaper samples from the 19th century. Also included are commercial receipts, bank orders, promissory notes and product and shipping receipts, many for shoes and in the name of Ebenezer C. Bailey from 1850s-1870s. Additionally there are recipes and articles of local interest centering on Essex County, Massachusetts, especially West Newbury and Haverhill. Houses of note are the Nichols House and Newell House in West Newbury and the Walker-Butters House in Haverhill.
