Two wallpaper fragments from the General Sylvanus Thayer birthplace in Braintree, Massachusetts. Stripe and vine pattern in which a leafy vine, possibly morning glory, grows up a gray pole or stripe. Small twig figures form a background pattern. Block-printed in red, green and gray on orange ground. Original colors are visible on the seam of Fragment (B). Wove paper, partial sheets.
