Description

Three wallpaper fragments removed from a house on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The paper is striped with vines of varying design. Block-printed in black and white on light blue ground. Wove paper, partial sheets. Wallpaper is lined with newspaper dating December, 1800. Removed from a house being destroyed on the "Mid-Cape Road" (the Mid-Cape Highway or Route 6 stretches about 35 miles from Sandwich to Orleans).
