Description

This oval girandole-style Bohemian garnet brooch is composed of faceted garnets set in gold in a series of concentric surmounts, with a large central stone. Beneath hang three garnet rosettes, from which are suspended tear-drop pendants with a central stone surrounded by smaller round stones. The brooch closes with a hinged pin and hook on the reverse. The brooch forms part of a set with bracelet 1966.2264.1.
