Fragment of wallpaper border from the Whitney Hotel once located in either Chelmsford or Lowell, Massachusetts. Border frament includes two scenes with classical motifs. One scene is of birds on a nest and the second is of winged angels holding a urn. A narrow diamond ribbon runs along upper and lower edges of the border. Block-printed in orange, yellow white, red, pink and blue on black ground. Fragment is affixed to paperboard.
