Description

Wallpaper fragment from the Piazza room of The Wayside in Concord, Massachusetts. Collected as part of a wallpaper restoration project taking place at the property in 1967-1968. Diamond patterned paper in which pattern and background printed with small dashes giving the pattern a great deal of texture. Possibly intended to imitate woven textile or worked leather. Roller-printed in black and dark red on red ground.
