Wallpaper fragments from Cotuit, Massachusetts. Pattern difficult to determine. Probably a Renaissance Revival style stripe based on visible floral bouquets and swags with scroll and strapwork cartouches. Roller-printed in white, blue, green, two pinks and red on ungrounded paper. Second layer of two layers of wallpaper. Strips of green gingham fabric attached horizontally to back of some of the fragments. Fabric appears to have been applied after the first layer of wallpaper to prepare the wall for this second layer.
