Two unused samples of reproduction wallpaper frieze in the "Eastlake Frieze" pattern manufactured by Bradbury & Bradbury as part of their "Anglo-Japanese Roomset." Wallpaper has large central band of elongated medallions containing a stylized bird with outstretched wings sitting on a flowering tree branch. Medallions are framed by stylized flowering trees and grasses. Above the central band are three geometric bands: the first and third of angular line and dots, the secon of half circles, dots, lines and palmettes. These three bands are repeated in an inverted position below the cental band. Screen printed in metallic gold, black, rust, and green on a cream ground. Pattern is an adaptation of English machine printed paper dating from 1870-1880 that was designed by Christopher Dresser. .
