Description

Fragment of wallpaper frieze from Hollinston, Massachusetts. Immitation chintz or needlework pattern. Roller-printed in black, red, blue, yellow, green and tan on cream ground. Appears to be a frieze, based on the horizontal orientation of the pattern and horizontal border along the lower edge. The frieze appears to be associated with second layer of wallpaper (2001.281.409.2).
