Description

22 unbound black & white photographs of the L. G. Balfour Company in Attleboro, Mass., around 1927. Photographs include exterior of the building and the different interior offices and factory rooms. Also includes photograph of founder and president Lloyd G. Balfour. The plant was located at 25 Country Street in Attleboro, Mass., from 1923 until the company changed its name and moved its operations to Texas and Mexico in 1997. They manufactured class and organizational (fraternity, sorority, etc.) rings, keys, and memorabilia, as well as graduation invitations. Index to all photographs is included identitying each image.
