Nutting sold the furniture from the Wentworth-Gardner House in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the Cutler-Bartlet House in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and Hospitality Hall in Wethersfield, Connecticut, through the John Wanamaker department store. Text on the front cover reads, "Exhibition and sale, au quatrième, John Wanamaker, New York."
