Description

A black and white photograph of the parlor mantle in the Daniel B. Eaton home, known as "The Farm," in Meredith, New Hampshire. The image shows the mantle with framed photographs, painted vases, and other decorative objects. Above the mantle hang two photographs on either side of a framed item that reads "The Old Oaken Bucket." It is difficult to see precisely what this object is, but it may be embroidery. At the bottom of the photograph the tops of two chairs are visible as well as the top of a table lamp.
