Description

Two fragments of diamond patterned wallpaper from Nantucket, Massachusetts. Black lines flanked by dots intersect to form a diamond pattern. Black and white rosettes alternate with white feathery sprig figures printed where lines intersect. Block-printed in black and white on ungrounded blue paper. Handmade wove paper, partial sheets. Second of four layers from same location.
