Unused wallpaper fragment from North Andover, Massachusetts. Landscape scene pattern typical of the mulit-colored, pictorial wallpapers produced in England during the third quarter of the nineteenth century. Three alternating scenes of chickens, ring-necked pheasants and grouse framed by leafy tree trunks and branches. Half drop repeat. Roller-printed in black, white, gray, yellow, two oranges, two blues, three browns and eleven greens on tan ground.
