I / don't recall where it come from. / I rather like the colors in it / and I am wondering if you have / seen it before and know anything / of its origin. Would you mind letting / me know. Thanks a lot / Yours / Carter Whitcomb" (Written n Mr. Whitcomb's letterhead)
"(W5264 / width?)" (Written at the bottom of the letter from Mr. Whitcomb but in a different hand.)
