Description

Unused sample. Wallpaper in the "Gothic Lily" pattern by Cole & Son (London) with stems of lilies alternating with roses within tracery frames edged with brattishing and ornamented with quatrefoils at the intersections. Block printed in green, cream, red, blue, black and metallic gold on a brown ground. Based on a wallpaper designed by Augustus W. N. Pugin for J. G. Crace (England), c. 1850.
