Description

Small fragment of floral wallpaper border. Flower and ribbon border fragment very similar to, and found with, 2001.281.507.2A-E. Pink flowers linked by ribbon and bead garlands. Stripes with geometric pattern above and below the floral design. Block-printed in green (appears brown), blue, pink, red, white on light blue ground. Green areas were varnished. The border appears to be the same as 1922.426 (see Wallpaper in New England page 90, Figure 20.2). Imprinted on the back with what appears to be a geometric floral design block-printed in green and black on white ground.
