Description

Wallpaper fragment from Wareham, Massachusetts. All-over medallion pattern. Small medallions with stylized floral centers among curling figures and small stylized flowers. Block-printed in red on ochre ground. Wove paper, partial sheets. Fragment is the second layer of three and is still adhered to upper and lower layers. Probably removed from the Captain John Kendrick House.
