Description

Two fragments of foliate wallpaper. Large, naturalistic leaves and stylized floral sprigs alternate in off-set, mirroring rows (one row leans in to the left, the next row to the right) to form an all-over foliate pattern. Block-printed in pink and red on ochre ground. Laid paper, partial sheets. A small fragment of roller printed flower and scroll wallpaper remains affixed to the top of Fragment A.
