Description

Fragment of foliate stripe wallpaper from the Governor Badger House, Belmont, New Hampshire. A stylized foliate stripe, with two rows of leaves growing from a vine, alternates with a field of striated diamonds with dot centers. Block-printed in brown and white on ochre ground. Wove paper, partial sheets.
