Description

Unused fragment of floral medallion wallpaper from the Governor Bradford house, Kingston, New Hampshire. Floral medallion pattern in grisaille except for colorful floral swags. The medallion figure is made up of a fabric shade or swag with tassles draping from a floral spray. Colorful floral swag hangs from the spray over the fabric. Roller-printed in three grays, three greens, purple, red and two pinks on polished white ground. Selvedge is marked"511 D."
