Series XI, Papers of Jane Standen Tucker (1917-2012), consists of materials created and collected during the Jane Standen Tucker's ownership of Castle Tucker and include correspondence generated during her family history research, genealogical pursuits, and management of the property as an independent historic house museum in the 1980s and early 1990s.

Jane Standen Tucker was the daughter of Richard Hawley Tucker and Ruth Standen Tucker. Raised on the West Coast, Ms. Tucker moved east to Castle Tucker in Wiscasset, Maine, to care for her aunt Jane Armstrong Tucker and was the property's last steward before it became part of Historic New England in 1997.
