Description

Leather-covered wooden box with hinged and locking lid. Box exterior is decorated with a leather handle and tacks. "John B. Bradford, Gardner" is written faintly on the lid. The interior is lined with a wallpaper with a delicate, all-over sprig pattern block-printed in white on blue ground. The pattern was reproduced by Waterhouse Wallhangings as "Treasure Chest."
