Fragment of unused wallpaper from Cranston, Rhode Island. Sprigs of three flowers tied with string alternate with a stripe consisting of a vertical line broken by evenly spaced dots and flowers. Roller-printed in black and gold on gray ground.The pattern imitates a more expensive embossed, gilt-figured wallpaper.
