Description

Stylized floral wallpaper fragments from Hodgdon's Island, Boothbay, Maine. The floral pattern features two urn figures filled with flowers and foliage. The figures are surrounded by sprigs and sprays, forming a dense all-over floral pattern. Roller-printed in light olive, three pinks, metallic gold, blue, tan and brown on black ground. Fragment (A) shows the pattern repeat, the colors of fragment (B) are more vibrant.
