Description

Fragment of diaper-patterned wallpaper from Cornish, Maine. Diamond pattern formed by striated white lines and white and gray circles, give the impression of architectural molding. Each diamond frames a quatrefoil figure. Block-printed in white and two grays on light gray ground. Wove paper with visible rag fibers, partial sheets.
