Unused wallpaper fragment with scenic pattern from Gorham, Maine. Repeating vignette of trees framed by foliate scrolls, c-scrolls and floral sprays and festoons on a background printed to resemble grass matting or woven silk. The vignettes and framing scrollwork are roller-printed in metallic gold, metallic copper, brown, white, light blue, and three greens on top of the faux grass mat background. The background is printed in white pin dots and brown on tan ground. See Inscriptions.
