Description

Wallpaper used as a book cover or document folder from Fryeburg, Maine. Wallpaper pattern of floral medallions on wheat background. Two floral sprays, one of poppies and the other of cornflowers, are vibrantly and naturalistically block-printed in shades of orange, blue, green, yellow and brown. The background pattern of wheat is block-printed in white and gray. The ground is pale green on handmade paper, partial sheets. The wallpaper is lined with an unbleached, laid paper with visible pulp fibers.
