Fragment of "Honeybee" wallpaper, designed by Candace Wheeler in 1881, from a house in Bath, Maine. In the pattern honeybees fly among circling floral vines on a background pattern of honeycomb. Block-printed in metallic gold, metallic silver, nude, tan, brown, yellow on light blue ground. The paper is embossed with a woven texture.
