Description

Fragment of unused floral stripe wallpaper from Kennebunk, Maine. Pattern of alternating wide and narrow stripes with leafy vines. A large white vine with tropical, serrated leaves grows over a wide stripe of gray with dark gray horizontally striped ribbon edges. Floral sprays in gold and gray accent each leaf. The narrow stripe is dark gray. A vine with varrigated leaves and flower buds grows over it. The narrow stripe is edged with lozenge-figure ribbons. White polished ground block-printed in two grays and metallic gold.
