Description

Fragment of unused Anglo-Japanese floral wallpaper from Portland, Maine. Asymmetrical pattern of flowers among a patchwork of geometric and naturalistic patterns. Flowers include stylized tulips and bleeding hearts. Patterns include Greek key, honeycomb, and diamonds. Paper is embossed with a pebble texture and roller-printed in black, maroon, orange, yellow, pale blue and metallic gold on olive ground.
