Fragment of a wide floral border from Westbrook, Maine with fragment of attached Anglo-Japanese sidewall (see 2001.281.611.2ab). Floral border featuring roses, sunflowers and acanthus leaves with upper and lower border of stylized overlapping leaves. Roller-printed in iridescent metallic copper, purple, orange, three browns, pale yellow on ochre ground. The paper is embossed with a weave texture.
