This folder within the papers of Richard Holbrook Tucker (1816-1931) includes letters written by Captain Tucker to his adult children, Mary Mellus (Mame) Tucker Clayton (1858-1899), Richard Hawley Tucker III (1859-1952), Martha Armstrong (Patty) Tucker Stapleton (1861-1893), and his son-in-law William Stapleton, during the 1880s. These letters describe domestic life in Wiscasset and comment on the activities and employment of the adult Tucker children.
