Description

Series IV, Correspondence, invitations, and postcards, 1890-1939, undated (#22.1-33.4, C.3.1-C.3.7), contains general and personal correspondence; invitations; and postcards received by Anna from family, friends, and acquaintances. Among the correspondence are letters of congratulation regarding her 1898 engagement to Stephen Willard Phillips (1873-1955) and letters from her son, Stephen "Stevie" Phillips (1907-1971), while he was residing in Switzerland for health reasons. Note that #23.3 contains dried flowers. The series is arranged alphabetically by record type, and thereunder chronologically.
