Subseries F, Thread and Needle Society of Salem (Salem, Massachusetts), 1897-1938, undated (#4.3, 4.5, 36.6-36.9, C.3.20, OB.2.2-OB.2.3), contains the organizations administrative correspondence; annual reports; bylaws; membership and officer lists; treasurer's report and other financial records; thank-you notes; meeting attendance records; clothing recipient lists; programs from plays; and related material in a bound volume (#OB.x.x) (missing). The subseries also contains a treasurer's book, which includes meeting attendance records, collected dues, garment production lists, and a typed set of bylaws; additional versions of the organization's bylaws; general correspondence; an invitation with poem to a Busy Bees' program; an invitation and thank-you note from the Cheerful Workers regarding the “Garden of Eden” program held on January 28; a handmade craft; and additional material from other programs. Anna was an officer and member of the Society. Note that #C.3.20 contains a sharp object. The subseries is arranged alphabetically by topic, then by record type or event.
