Unused sample of wallpaper border manufactured by Bassett & Vollum of Chicago, IL. Pattern has repeating motif of highly stylized rococo acanthus leaves bordered by top and bottom horizontal lines. Screen printed in black, white and brown on a taupe ground. Probably a reproduction pattern. Sample was fold in folder of wallpaper samples manufactured by Allen-Doane Company of Boston, MA.
