Description

Wooden box with iron works mortised in. Box surface mounted. Full dovetail cover plate over works. Plate is painted (or grained and varnished) - now black. Brass key surround on plate. Deadbolt 3/4" x 1 3/8" x 5/8". Key-operated from both sides. Three mounting holes, countersunk on side opposite cover plate. Plate secured to box with wrought nails.
