Unused sample of reproduction wallpaper in the "Crystal Palace" pattern (#220484) by Waterhouse Wallhangings, Inc. Wallpaper has a Renaissance Revival pattern featuring repeating cartouches and strapwork. Cartouches enclose floral sprays of roses, peonies and other flowers. Interspersed between strapwork are small sprays of foliage with berries. Printed in tan, blue-green, reds, pink and white on a light green ground. Pattern is an adaptation of an English paper from 1860-1870. Note that another Waterhouse reproduction also bears the name "Crystal Palace" but is not the same pattern. See 2001.281.783.
